Afternoon Tea at King Street Townhouse is one of Manchester’s most loved experiences, served in the cosy elegance of our Afternoon Tea Lounge. Everything is handmade by our pastry chefs using quality seasonal ingredients, with a menu that changes twice each season.

Ease into your day with breakfast favourites served in the relaxed surroundings of The Tavern. We celebrate the best local produce with comforting dishes such as a hearty Full English, Eggs Hollandaise your way, our delicious Crushed Pea and Courgette on Sourdough, or Pancakes topped just how you like them.
With fresh coffee or a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne on the side, it’s the perfect way to begin your day in the city - whether you’re a hotel guest or simply popping by.

Make January a little warmer with our January Set Menu, served daily from 12pm - 5.30pm in the Tavern. Enjoy two courses for £24, or three for £28 and choose from Game Terrine and Beetroot Cured Salmon, to a Buttermilk Chicken Burger or Fried Cod Roll, finished with a Spiced Winter Berry Cheesecake or Gingerbread Sticky Toffee Pudding - the perfect midweek January treat.

Indulge in a little January luxury with our exclusive Afternoon Tea offer. Choose between our classic sweet Afternoon Tea or our savoury High Tea for less this month. Enjoy a an Afternoon Tea for two for £52, or add a touch of sparkle with a glass of sparkling wine each for £58 for two. Available until March 2026, T&Cs apply.
